There are several things that make mechanical keyboards superior to other regular keyboards or what are called rubber keyboards. Most importantly, the ability to customize and diversify as the mechanical keyboards allow their users to fully control the type, strength and function of the keys starting from choosing the type of switch and its performence. Each switch is held by a single socket. Unlike the setuation in regular (rubber) keyboards, where all the keys are connected to a rubber layer connected to one electronic chip. Mechanical keyboards are also characterized by ease of change and cleaning. This is due to the possibility of removing, cleaning or changing the switches if required, which eliminates the need to replace the entire keyboard which is the case with regular keyboards that are not designed for maintenance or modification. In addition, the strength and steadfastness of mechanical keyboards that withstand various types of frequent or continuous pressure on the keys, which makes them live for longer periods than other regular keyboards. Users of mechanical keyboards also enjoy many features such as RGB lighting and LED backlighting, which adds a different and distinctive aesthetic character.
